 Backing Up Playback Files Through NetClient [DVR PRO 4/8/16]

 

[This note applies to all ICR Pro series DVRs]

 

Step 1: Login to the DVR as administrator through the net client software. Click on the “Manager Login” icon on the bottom of the software. Than Proceed with picking the correct host name and enter in you’re administrative password.

 

Step 2: Once logged in, click on “NetBackup” towards the bottom of the software.

 

Step 3: Now that the “NetBackup” window is open, choose the channel number and input the begin time and end time of the playback you want to download. You also have a choice to select “All Channels” if you don’t want to search channel by channel.

 

Step 4: Double check that all your information you input for the search is correct than click on “Search”.

 

Step 5: Once you click search, the once empty field below will populate with the playbacks in the range of your search query.

Step 6: Now that you did the search, you can highlight the playbacks you want and click on “Download” below the large field. When you click on “Download”, a window should popup and asks you where to store the files. Select a folder to store these playbacks in and click on “Ok”.

               Note: If you want to convert the playbacks in to .AVI format, select the “Convert to AVI” before you download your playbacks.
