Making a New Connection (Software) [DVR PRO 4/8/16]

[This note applies to all ICR Pro series DVRs]

Note: In the picture, the number represents the step number in the walkthrough.

Step 1: Start out by making sure you have the latest Net Client software installed by going to www.audioamericacctv.com/support and looking under Pro DVR downloads for the newest dated Net Client. Once downloaded and installed, run Net Client from the desktop icon.

Step 2:  When done fully loading, click on the small icon towards the bottom middle called “Local Setup” (move your mouse over the icon to tell what the icon is). Now from that menu select “Host Setup” to bring up a new menu. Here you will be configuring the network information for your DVR (also referred to as “Host”).

Step 3: Click on “Insert” in the Host info box to create a new entry. Enter in the DVR’s IP address (or if accessing remotely, the locations public address), name (make it what ever you want), port number of the DVR (by default its set to 9080) and finally how many channels the DVR has. Click on “OK” when finished. You should now see a small purple icon with the name you gave the new host (setup in this case) on the left hand side of the menu. Your new connection should now be set up correctly!

Step 4: If you need to make changes to the entry, click on the name (purple icon) to the left hand side and the information will appear under “Host Info” to the right. Now click on “Update” under the “Host Info” box to edit any information as needed.
